Teaching Artist

“Teaching Artistry is the sweet spot between Education and Creative Practice” - Alison Brazil

With over 10 years as a public school educator and more than a decade as a professional artist, I’ve found my sweet spot being a teaching artist. I blend strong teaching foundations with the creative process to spark curiosity, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.

As a teaching artist, I bring my professional music practice into classrooms of all ages, community spaces, and artist residencies throughout Tennessee and beyond. I believe the arts can spark meaningful change and strengthen communities, especially when we create together.
